Dr. Tai Casagrande is a board-certified veterinary Cardiologist. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Cornell University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at The Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island. She then completed a 1-year small animal rotating medical/surgical internship at two busy emergency/specialty hospitals located just outside Chicago. She stayed on at one of the hospitals as an associate for a year, providing dedicated primary and emergency care to dogs and cats.
In 2012, upon completion of a 3 -year residency in veterinary Cardiology at The University of Wisconsin and passing her board examinations, Dr. Casagrande was awarded Diplomate status in the subspecialty of Cardiology by The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
Following completion of her residency, Dr. Casagrande started up a cardiology service in Connecticut, which grew substantially over 3 years. She very much enjoyed her time in CT but ultimately decided to move closer to family and begin her newest endeavor of Casagrande Cardiology. Dr. Casagrande is very excited to be able to provide expert cardiac care to pets in her home state of Massachusetts.
In her free time, Dr. Casagrande enjoys reading medical thrillers, relaxing with friends, enjoying the beauty of the Massachusetts north shore in the summer (and experiencing mild New England winters), and rooting for all New England teams!
